Your workouts stay on your phone.
Everpace is a training log for functional fitness, with a companion app for Garmin watches. It is made by Mykhailo Nester ("we"). This policy covers the Everpace Android app and the Everpace Garmin watch app.
In short: Everpace has no accounts and no ads, and we never sell your data. Your training data is stored on your device. The app sends only crash reports, usage statistics if you agree to them, and what is needed to unlock Pro.
What stays on your device
Everpace stores these in a database on your phone. They are not sent to us or to anyone else:
- workouts and plans you paste, write or receive from your watch;
- sets, reps, loads, scores, times, personal records and notes;
- heart rate, calories and other measurements recorded by your watch;
- your settings, such as weight unit and Rx standard.
The phone and watch exchange workouts through Garmin's Connect IQ service, using the Garmin Connect app on your phone. Garmin's own privacy policy applies to Garmin Connect.
If Android backup is turned on, Android may include Everpace's data in your device backup in your own Google account, under Google's terms. We cannot access these backups.
What leaves your device
| What | Sent to | Why | Your choice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crash reports: where in the app a crash happened, device model, Android version, app version and a random installation ID | Google Firebase Crashlytics | To find and fix crashes | On by default; turn off with More → Send crash reports |
| Usage statistics: which screens and features you use, in rough ranges only (for example "under 200 characters"), and a random installation ID | Google Firebase Analytics | To learn which features help and which confuse | Off until you agree; change any time with More → Share usage analytics |
| Purchases: your Pro subscription status, purchase receipts and a random app user ID | Google Play and RevenueCat | To sell and unlock Everpace Pro and restore it on a new phone | Only if you buy or restore Pro |
Crash reports and usage statistics never contain your workouts, loads, heart rate, notes or name. Advertising IDs are not collected. Google Play handles all payments; we never see your card or bank details.
Who processes it
- Google (Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, Google Play): Google privacy policy.
- RevenueCat, Inc. (subscription management): RevenueCat privacy policy.
They process this data on our behalf to provide these services. We do not sell or share it for advertising.
How long it is kept
- Data on your device: until you delete a workout, clear the app's data or uninstall Everpace.
- Crash reports: up to 90 days.
- Usage statistics: up to 2 months.
- Purchase records: while your subscription is active, and afterwards only as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because Everpace has no accounts, most of your data is only on your device and is yours to delete. See Delete your data for the steps. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Everpace is meant for adults and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Important changes will also be announced in the app.
